Lasseters Hotel Casino is investing $35 million dollars to enhance the existing venue, with completion scheduled for April, 2013.
What do the refurbishments entail?
- 66 new guest accommodation rooms
- New hotel entrance and reception area
- Public day spa, massage treatment and commercial gym facility
- Resort pool area with accompanying tropical gardens and recreational areas
- A new VIP gaming room
- Extension of casino floor to accommodate additional electronic gaming machines and table games
- Development of a new 240-seat dining area
- A new bar on the gaming floor
- Upgrades to back-of-house facilities including laundry
- Additional 120 car parking spaces
- New designated outdoor smoking areas
- Overall improvements to facility aesthetics and landscaping to fit with the Alice Springs local environment
- Ecologically sustainable building practices designed to reduce energy and water consumption
