The Alice Springs community is beaming with pride as Lasseters Hotel Casino brings home ‘Best Overall Hotel’ and ‘Best Casual/Family Dining for the Juicy Rump’ at the NT’s most prestigious awards for excellence.

Lasseters Hotel Casino cemented Alice Springs position as a global tourism destination yesterday when they took home two awards at the Australian Hotels Association (NT Branch) Aristocrat Technologies Awards for Excellence held in Darwin. Surpassing all other entries, Lasseters Hotel Casino won ‘Best Overall Hotel – Regional’ as well as ‘Best Casual/Family Dining – the Juicy Rump’.

Renowned as the most prestigious awards in the Northern Territory Hospitality Industry, the Australian Hotels Association (NT Branch) Aristocrat Technologies Awards for Excellence recognise superiority across a wide range of categories including accommodation, employees, dining and entertainment venues. The success of Lasseters Hotel Casino highlights the exceptional quality of tourism and hospitality products across the whole of Alice Springs.

Lasseters Hotel Casino General Manager Brad Morgan said “We are delighted with the result; winning these two awards recognises our teams commitment to providing our guests with the ultimate outback experience, whilst simultaneously applauding our internal culture to continuously elevate our benchmarks”.

‘Best Overall Hotel – Regional’ recognises Lasseters Hotel Casino’s 140 accommodation rooms, international standard casino, 4 restaurants, 2 bars, Sports Lounge, Nightclub as well as the Alice Springs Convention Centre as being a definitive leader in the NT and reinforces its position in the marketplace as the leading Entertainment Centre of Alice Springs.

‘Best Casual/Family Dining’ for the Juicy Rump highlights the unique point of difference of this product. The combination of a casual dining experience by day and the excitement of after dark exclusive events, all at the foot of the majestic MacDonald Ranges in the centre of the dessert makes the product uniquely Australia and continues to impress international visitors.

Lasseters Hotel Casino will now compete at the Australian Hotel Association National Awards for Excellence on the 12th September in Sydney.

Lasseters Hotel Casino is located beneath the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges and has 140 rooms, an international standard casino, four restaurants, two bars, a sports lounge and a night club.
