Lasseters Hotel Casino has launched its new customer-focused, interactive website. The site, www.lhc.com.au has been redesigned to embody the needs of customers whilst simultaneously aligning with the new strategic direction and brand values of the organisation.

Lasseters Hotel Casino Marketing Manager Megan Thompson says "We are in a competitive marketplace so to continue to grow our market share and satisfy our existing customers’ needs as well as attract new markets; we needed to create a dialogue where the needs and opinions of our customers were heard and acted on. This has taken place over the past few months and the result is our new site which we are confident delivers and satisfies our customers’ demands”.

The latest international trends for tourism and hospitality focused websites has also been incorporated with the site now offering customers the ability to:

  • Book hotel rooms based on personal preferences from the homepage.

The site currently features an e-newsletter sign-up incentive, where by those who sign up for the e-newsletter before December 31st 2010 go into the draw to win a $500 Lasseters Hotel Casino voucher.

Acting General Manager Craig Jervis states: “With changing information needs and our customers expecting more, we needed to develop an easy to navigate, information filled website that outlined the changes that are taking place and that will continue to happen over the coming months.  This comprehensive restructuring of the online window to our products is our first step to introducing the modifications that will occur at Lasseters Hotel Casino over the next 24 months”.

Lasseters Hotel Casino has seen a number of changes already over the past few months starting in August with the reintroduction and refinement of Tight Rump Tuesday where Club Lasseters members receive two for one meals.  September bought with it Lasseters Grand Buffet in Samphire Restaurant and Juicy Brunch on Saturday and Sundays in the Juicy Rump and October’s new product was ‘Thank God It’s Juicy Friday’ on Friday afternoons on the Juicy Deck with live music and bar tab draws.

November sees the launch of the new website as well as commencement of the two year, $40 million redevelopments across the entire Lasseters Hotel Casino property.

December will see the arrival of the new General Manager, replacing Brad Morgan who commenced with SkyCity Darwin in October.

Lasseters Hotel Casino has 140 rooms, four restaurants; two bars a sports lounge and an international standard casino.  It is attached to the Alice Springs Convention Centre and is framed by the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges.

A full high definition 103-inch plasma now hangs on the wall of the Juicy Deck at the Juicy Rump and cements the venues position as the live sports destination in Alice Springs. The largest Plasma in Alice Springs will showcase all major sporting events including the upcoming AFL Grand Final on September 25th and the NRL Grand Final on 3rd October.

General Manager Brad Morgan says “We’re pleased to have our new 103-inch plasma up in time for the NRL and AFL Grand Final games. Our dedication to providing our customers with the ultimate in sports viewing technology demonstrates our position as Alice Springs live sporting venue destination.”

The Juicy Rump’s 103-inch plasma is the same screen featured in ‘The Footy Show’ hosted by Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin and features 1080p progressive HDTV resolution, providing clear, brilliant images with exceptional detail and true-to-life colour. It delivers more than two million pixels of performance (1,920 x 1,080). This together with its non-reflective anti-glare screen makes it the perfect screen to watch live sports.

The 103-inch full high definition plasma on the Juicy Deck joins the current eight 50-inch plasmas currently inside the venue. It also joins the existing 103-inch projector located in the Sports Lounge, which is now in High Definition as well as 13 additional plasma screens – 5 x 65”, 8 x 42” which display sporting channels and NT Keno.

Lasseters Hotel Casino is located beneath the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges and has 140 rooms, an international standard casino, four restaurants, two bars, a sports lounge and a night club. The property is adjoined to the Alice Springs Convention Centre and is the second largest employer in Alice Springs.
