Lasseters Hotel Casino was transformed into the most horrendous venue in Alice Springs for their Haunting Halloween Weekend at Lasseters complete with Horrific Halloween Party and the new Tunnel of Terror.

It was all spider webs, mutated limbs and freaky faces at the Lasseters Hotel Casino Haunting Halloween Weekend. The wacky weekend started on Friday 29th October where the Juicy Rump and Sports Lounge bars were decorated with Halloween inspired theming including 20 oversized pumpkins carved.

Nothing was safe at Lasseters Hotel Casino over the weekend, the Casbah Cafe and Bar’s popular cakes cabinet was transformed into the ‘Creepy Cakes’ display complete with spiders and webs. The Spooky Samphire Restaurant’s Brutal Buffet was decorated to resemble a spider infested, murder scene aftermath. The bathrooms weren’t left untouched and featured ripped blood stained sheets hanging from the roof and lipstick written messages on the mirror such as “Help Me” and “I know what you did last Halloween”.

The menus received a facelift as well with popular dishes including ‘Silence of the Lamb Fillet, Frankenstein Fish of the Day, Spicy Brain Beef Salad, Chuckies Chicken and Prawns as well as Wok Fried Tofu Toes. Nothing could escape the Halloween theme with the Devilish Drinks Menu including cocktails such as Dracula’s Delight, Witches Brew and Vampires Blood.

The staff got behind the weekend with ex London based make-up artist Jodie Farrell bought into create Halloween inspired make-up for the Saturday night party.

Lasseters Hotel Casino Marketing Manager Megan Thompson said “we wanted to create a freakishly fun weekend where our guests could really get into the spirit of Halloween, dress up and enjoy something a little bit different.”
