Lasseters Hotel Casino welcomes new Chief Operating Officer

Things are changing at Lasseters Hotel Casino with the impending arrival of new Chief Operating Officer Mr Chris Sartori.
Chris Sartori has been announced as the new Chief Operating Officer at Lasseters Hotel Casino, replacing Brad Morgan who moved to Darwin in October to take on the role of General Manager with Skycity.
Mr Sartori brings with him over 20 years experience in the gaming and club industry, most recently spending 5 years as the General Manager at Kedron-Wavell Club in Brisbane, a venue similar in size to Lasseters Hotel Casino and that under Mr Sartori’s leadership was awarded the 2010 Queensland Club of the Year. Mr Sartori holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Business and a Diploma in Club Management.
The role of Chief Operating Officer will be based at Lasseters Hotel Casino in Alice Springs and will incorporate executive management of other Ford Dynasty properties. He will commence employment with the Lasseters Hotel Casino team on Monday 6th December.
Joining Mr Sartori in Alice Springs will be his wife Jodie and two of their three children, 14 year old Ben, who will attend St Philip’s College and 7 year old Sam, who will attend Our Lady of Sacred Heart. Their eldest daughter, 17 year old Ashleigh will remain in Brisbane to attend university.
The new Chief Operating Officer has a full schedule over the next 24 months commencing with overseeing the $35 million redevelopment of the venue. The redevelopment will see an additional 68 accommodation rooms and a further 100 slot machines, four table games a new premium player gaming area and a VIP Room. Redevelopments also include a fully-equipped operational day spa, massage treatment and commercial gym facility; refurbishing the existing Samphire Restaurant into a new 250 seat dining area; a new hotel entrance and reception area; a new relocated resort pool area; new tropical gardens and recreational areas; upgrades to back of house facilities including laundry; an additional 120 car parking spaces; new designated outdoor smoking areas; improvements to facility aesthetics and landscaping to fit with the Alice Springs local environment and ecologically sustainable building practices designed to reduce energy and water consumption.

The Lasseters Hotel Casino management team has seen a number of changes in recent months with the announcement of new Human Resources Manager Glenn Kitto, new Alice Springs Convention Manager Ian Soloman, new Marketing Manager Megan Thompson and internal movement seeing Craig Jervis (who has been acting General Manager since October) promoted to Casino Manager - Operations Division, Max Harte promoted to Casino Manager – Gaming Division and Daniel Davis promoted to Information Technology Manager.
Lasseters Hotel Casino has 140 rooms, four restaurants; two bars a sports lounge and an international standard casino. It is attached to the Alice Springs Convention Centre and is framed by the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges.
