Local Mum Wins Mother's Day Hamper

Local Mum of three had an extra special Mother’s Day after winning a hamper full of pampering gifts from Lasseters Hotel Casino.
Mother’s Day was made extra special for a local Alice Springs Mum on Sunday when she won the $500 Mothers Day Pamper Hamper after entering the competition while dining for Brunch with her family on Mother’s Day.
All Mums dining on Mother’s day at the Juicy Rump and Sukra Restaurant received a free glass of sparkling wine, free flower and free entry into the draw to WIN the $500 Mother’s Day Pamper Hamper. The Pamper Hamper included a One Nights stay in a Deluxe Suite with Breakfast for Two at Lasseters Hotel Casino; Plush Bath Robe and Slippers; Bottle of French Champagne Moet & Chandon; Kudos Bath and Spa Gift Set and a Box of Chocolates.
The Pamper Hamper was won by Mother of three Sue Van Luenen who is originally from Shepparton, Victoria but has been in Alice Springs for 20 years. Sue said she “moved to Alice Springs for a 6 month stint but is still here 20 years later”. Sue has three children, Brad and Shane who are 13 years old and Ashlea who is 8. Sue adds that “she was delighted to receive the phone call explaining she had won the hamper”.
Sue enjoyed Juicy Brunch at the Juicy Rump with her family on the morning of Mother’s Day which featured live entertainment by interstate saxophonist Troy Stevens.
Lasseters Hotel Casino is located beneath the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges and has 140 rooms, an international standard casino, four restaurants, two bars, a sports lounge and a night club. The property is adjoined to the Alice Springs Convention Centre and is the second largest employer in Alice Springs.
