Lasseters Wins Two Awards at Brolgas

Lasseters Hotel Casino in Alice Springs has taken home two awards at the prestigious 2011 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards.
Lasseters Hotel Casino cemented Alice Springs' position as a must-see tourism destination on Saturday night when they won the highly competitive Deluxe Accommodation Award followed by the Chairman’s Choice award for all-round business excellence at the prestigious Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards.

The Brolga Awards recognise tourism businesses that strive for excellence in every area of their operation and are renowned as the most prominent awards in the Northern Territory Hospitality Industry. The awards are the official tourism awards program for the Northern Territory.
The competition is open to tourism operators who prepare a submission in response to a series of questions and criteria that measure business excellence. Winning a Brolga Award is the industry’s highest accolade and the recipients represent the best products and services in the Northern Territory.
Winning the Best Deluxe Accommodation in the NT means Lasseters Hotel Casino are now finalists in the 2011 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards which will be held at the Cairns Convention Centre on 2nd March 2012.
Lasseters Hotel Casino is located beneath the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges and has 140 rooms, an international standard casino, four restaurants, two bars, a sports lounge and a night club. The property is adjoined to the Alice Springs Convention Centre and is the second largest employer in Alice Springs.
