By Rail
The Ghan travels from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and Darwin to Alice Springs through some of Central Australia's most spectacular scenery. You can bring your own car on the train or alternatively hire a car in Alice Springs from a choice of rental companies.
The train station is approximately 5km from Lasseters Hotel Casino.
 
By Car
Depending on whether you want to travel on sealed roads or 4wheel drive tracks with your only limitation being your vehicle.
There are highways from Adelaide, Darwin, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne together with a number of arterial and secondary roads that are unsealed or partly sealed providing the adventurous traveller with a real experience.
 
By Coach
Should you decide not to drive yourself some express coach operators provide regular services to Alice Springs. See your local travel agent for more details.  The Coach Terminal is approximately 5 km from Lasseters Hotel Casino.
